Certifications
Bionée’s Certified Organic Maternity Skincare is the first skin care to be developed with the accreditation of the most influential European, US and Australian organizations that promote healthy and organic cosmetics. We truly take the best of the whole world to offer you superior product quality.
ECOCERT has been the global leader in organic certification since 1991, now represented in more than 80 countries, certifying thousands of organic cosmetic products. ECOCERT is a name and seal trusted by consumers, businesses, industry and governments worldwide. By means of the NATURAL AND ORGANIC COSMETICS standards, Ecocert defines a requirement level that is superior to the conventional regulation governing cosmetics. ECOCERT’s basic task consists in guaranteeing the rigorous respect of the applied standards on products, systems or services. The issuance of the certificate acts as a security and guarantee of superior quality for the consumer or the user.
ECOCERT® certification is only given to a company after a long procedure. It demands from the company the most serious and respectful attitude towards the consumers, the products, and the environment. If you would like to learn more about the process please click here.
The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics is a coalition effort launched in 2004 to protect the health of consumers and workers by securing the corporate, regulatory and legislative reforms necessary to eliminate dangerous chemicals from cosmetics and personal care products. We're working with more than 100 endorsing organizations, thousands of grassroots supporters and over 1,300 companies that have signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics.
The Organic Trade Association (OTA) is the membership-based business association for the organic industry in North America. OTA’s mission is to promote and protect organic trade to benefit the environment, farmers, the public, and the economy. OTA envisions organic products becoming a significant part of everyday life, enhancing people's lives and the environment.
Choose Cruelty Free (CCF) is an independent, non-profit organization, which actively promotes a cruelty-free lifestyle. CCF surveys companies which claim to sell products that have not been tested on animals and do not contain cruelly-derived ingredients and accredits companies which satisfy CCF's criteria. It makes people aware of their power, as consumers, to change attitudes about testing products on animals.
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an independent, non-for-profit organization established in 1993 to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC certified forests must be managed to the highest environmental, social and economic standards. Trees that are harvested are replanted or allowed to regenerate naturally, and the forests must also be managed with due respect for the environment, the wildlife and the people who live and work in them. This is what makes the FSC system unique and ensures that a forest is well-managed, from the protection of indigenous people‘s rights to the methods of felling trees.
At Bionée our packaging philosophy is based on the use of renewable and sustainable resources, which is why our paper is FSC certified as coming from sources practicing responsible forest management.
